Today in class:
Me: What is working well for you in Writer's Workshop?
Student: It is really working well that I can write what I know a lot about, like my next book is all about motorcycles like Darley Havidson's.
While separating their books into fiction and non-fiction piles, I checked in with a girl in my class to see how she was doing. She was just getting to some Santa books she had in her stack and put them all in her non-fiction pile. "I put these here because he is real."
