Isla took her first vacation to Scottsdale, AZ for spring break. We calculated we drove about 26 hours (there and back) and she only cried for about an hour of the trip which includes the times we drove around AZ...so needless to say ROCKSTAR!!! Most everyday was B getting up at the crack of dawn to play golf and Isla and I heading to the pool around 10. B would meet us at the pool for lunch and then he would count the minutes until Isla would wake up from her nap in her stroller so he could play with her in the pool! Isla didn't mind the water one bit and even kicked her legs when B had her in the pool (video to come in another post!) We got to spend time with B's mom and dad on the way to AZ spending the night in Alamosa, we spent some time with Adam, Andrea, Millie and baby #2, AND Ben, Mackenzie, and Mimi were in AZ the same time we were so we had a fun night out with them as well!
Isla rolled over for the first time while we were there (although she hasn't done it since we have been home...maybe it was just a vacation trick!) We had the best time being a family of 3!!!
