Apparently we like to keep with the tradition of Isla having an ear infection on Spring break, but luckily this time we found out for much cheaper at our doctor's office (thanks mom for taking the girls) rather than a trip to Urgent Care. Tatum wanted to be a part of spring break sickness and got some eye-drops for a mild pink eye infection.
Most parents discourage the use of technology and limit "screen time." I, on the other hand, had Isla in iPad bootcamp the week before we left to learn how to navigate between apps, figure out which ones she liked, and how to click off of pop up ads. She is now a proficient iPad user and her favorite one was Cake doodle (thanks Amy!)
This one is just because it's cute.
Our pre-trip drive started with a stop in Alamosa to see Mema and Pepa. Mema says next time there should be a two night minimum for visits to their house. We all got to go to Carlucci's and get a few new things for our trip too! We headed out the next morning at 4 am...Arizona bound!!!
