Isla only has one dress up outfit she likes: a loose cowgirl shirt, a flowy soft ballet skirt, with the occasional addition of a super hero cape or heels.

This made me tear up. Mom said she didn't hesitate with her answers...she was spot on.
We celebrated Mother's Day by checking out a new pizza place that I wanted to try and getting some dessert. My sister, mom and I all went to get a pedicure too. To top the whole weekend off, my treat to myself was taking Monday off. That might be a new mother's day tradition. :)

Yes, Isla is 3 1/2, Yes, Isla would call her crib her big girl bed. Yes, Isla loved her crib and never once asked for a different bed even after seeing friends beds and sleeping on a queen bed at my moms. Yes, I finally said it was time for this girl to have a toddler bed even though she would've slept in her crib for another year. Yes, daddy needed two special helpers to get the job done.
