Spring Break 2015

This was our third year at the same place and we hit our stride.  We knew what to pack, what to expect, where to eat, what to buy, and all of that combined with the girls being a year older (meaning easier in the car, no nursing, no morning naps) AND we had family and friends with us made it a pretty amazing trip.   I was a bit worried because our last three years of spring break we've had one or two kiddos on moxocillin and things weren't looking good when tater's had a high fever the day we left.   The first days there she slept in the stroller in the morning on our walks to starbucks and the fountains, but would bounce back in the afternoon.  By the end of the trip she was feeling much better, but I was the one who lost my voice!

The Brennings (the family we've vacationed with the last 4 years), McCubbins, DeColas and Carlucci children!  (Not pictured Feger children) In total there were 5 families with 12 kids plus my mom and dad for the first half of the trip.

Mom and dad went to a special dinner one night and were surprised when the people they briefly chatted with that were sitting next to them bought their dinner!

The girls favorite part of the trip was playing most mornings in this outdoor area near our room and the pool with all of their friends.

Frozen movie night!

In true Tater's form she stuck pretty close to me the whole trip, "Upa Upa Mama!  Upa!"

On our last night there I took these little girls (plus Laine and Andie Kate) around the property on an adventure.  We laid on a hammock and made wishes on a star.  Isla wished that all food would be healthy food and Tatum wished everyone in the whole wide world could have a pluto dog like her.   Love them.  On our last night there we also did our tradition of a "midnight" swim (8pm) and this is always when Isla likes to practice real swimming.   Tatum and daddy worked on Tatum tummy swimming.  Such special memories.  

Troopers in the car.  The pretty much watched movies all day.  We left AZ at 3:30 am and got home around 6:30.  Totally worth it.  Can't wait for next year.
