Field Day

Olympic themed field day today!  We were representing China for the games.  'Goin' for Gold' was our motto (earning gold would entail good sportsmanship, cheering each other on, etc.) and it looked pretty shady when two minutes into the first event 4 kids were crying.   15 minutes later and the second event I gave the ever motivational speech "I'm not kidding.  We will go inside.  We will not compete in the rest of the events if you can't get it together.  We are NOT earning our gold medal right now."  You will be relieved to find out that we did indeed earn our Gold....we pulled together and achieved our Olympic dreams.  

This was me giving a  post-Olympic speech which was somewhere along the lines of,

"We did it.  We pulled together as a team and we earned our Gold!"
