6 months (+2 weeks)...we've been busy

Isla Paige...it's been a big month!  School is out and we just got back from Missouri to visit of your Great Grandma and you were a ROCK STAR on the plane!  Here is what has been going on in your world...
*Your head is in the 97% (yikes!), you weigh 18lbs 1 oz (85%) & 26 inches (83%)
*Your smiles are the best ever (our favorite is the straight across smile where the bottom of your chin looks so flat)
*You have the best giggles and it doesn't take too much to get you to giggle and you always end with the hiccups
*You are a tummy sleeper now
*You still wake up once at night (sigh---we are going to have to let you cry at some point)
*You started eating rice cereal once a day and like it, you try and do the spoon yourself
*You just tried bananas for the first time and I think you would have kept eating if I had let you
*Your uncle Joe (my mom's brother in law) decided to feed you at Great Grandma's house a cottage cheese/jello/pineapple/whip cream and you loved it...but after about 5 big bites I suggested he feed you applesauce since up until that point you had only had breastmilk!
*You strung together your rolls and now move across the room quickly
*You sit up, although I stay close by
*You wear 6-12 month clothes
*You giggle when I tell you in a silly voice "cookies! cake! pie!"
*You snuggle with me after you wake up
*You FLIRT with boys....on the plane you sought out men who were sitting around us and smiled at them (you even smiled at a teenage boy at Target the other day when he was walking by and not smiling at you...after he walked by he smiled big because you smiled at him!)
*You love to jump in your bouncy, we call your dance the river dance (in fact when we were at the farm you didn't have your bouncy and when grandma would hold you up on your feet you would try and bounce!)
*You love to shake your head back and forth (see video!)
*You love to be outside and like to watch the leaves blow and you reach for the longest blade of grass
*You like tags/zippers/buttons and can sit for a long time and use your fine motor skills to play with them
*You make the indian sound (have been for awhile) when we put our hand over your mouth and now you attack our hand to eat our hands because I think you are teething
*You suck/chew on your pointer finger like you are thinking about something
*You put EVERYTHING in your mouth and chew
*You talk/screech/sing a lot and like to get high and low with your volume,  just this week you are barely starting to make the ba/ma/da sounds...I swear you said mama the other day while you were crying.
