*Several times throughout the day you come over, put your hand on my back, pat it, and say "You ok? Ok mommy?"
*You love to "run really fast" as you say and tell Daddy to "watch this" as you take off. Your run is more side-to-side than forward, it doesn't have much knee bend, and as daddy said straight lines are hard for your to negotiate. (Although you rock at the balance beam!)
*Whenever you see Grady you two instantly start running your familiar path at Grandma's house and screaming all the while. You often start your runs with "ready, set, go" or "1,2,3 blast off."
*You make demands now with your words. "Sit mommy," "Hold you mommy," "Basement mommy," "Push stroller outside mommy," you get the idea.
*You are saying more things that let me know you have more of a memory. You want to walk down to the house that has the meow meow everyday. You refer to things like, "sprinklers all done" pointing to a house on our street that had it's sprinklers on last week. We went to the park one time and there was a baby there and next time we went you asked, "where did the baby go?"
*You sing, count, and do things to make us laugh.
*You often ask for "other blankie, other sock, other bus video"
*Our summer morning routine involves you coming into our room and asking to watch Caillou airplane and while we are watching it in bed you sit on my lap and I do your hair.
*You love to tell daddy to "watch this" no matter what it is you are doing. You like to know he delights in you.
*You never miss an opportunity to say "bless you" and you still have the best endings to prayers, a very enthusiastic "amen!"
*You love to dance still and have some good moves.
*You ask for "nacks" (snacks) a lot.
*We love that you know your cousins by name and get to see them a ton!
